Up, up and away!
Depending on how many quote requests you chose we will automatically send the information that you have entered to that number of your nearest DSR drone pilots. They will then respond back to you directly just as soon as they are able.
Please note that our professional pilots are likely to be working hard, so allow some time for them to come back to you. It is usual for them to ask you a few more questions about the work you want them to do, as quoting for drone services is very location and risk assessment specific.
Drone Safe Register
Our vision is to be the recognised national body for Canada’s Approved drone pilots and operators and the first port-of-call for anyone seeking to employ their services.
We are committed to our members and to ensuring that the process of finding a drone pilot is easy, efficient and affordable but, just as importantly, trusted, reliable and safe.
Our trade members come from many walks of life, but they all have one thing in common, which is they are all photographers and videographers.
Many have added professional drone services to their existing photography and/or video production businesses. So, when it comes to collecting aerial photographic images and video clips our approved drone operators have the experience to capture the imagery professionally and creatively.
Our qualified trade members can provide professional imagery from many aspects of the Survey and Inspection industry.
Whether you require qualified structural engineering or thermal imaging, the collection of photographic and video imagery of construction projects, 3D modelling, roof inspections, ground mapping, photogrammetry and georeferenced mapping – our DSR pilots will be able to assist you.
Aerial thermography is a very specialist activity. Thermal imaging cameras are expensive precision engineering equipment and require skill, experience and qualification in order to deploy them effectively.
Drones are a perfect fit for many thermal survey projects as gaining an aerial perspective on roof inspections, insulation surveys and photovoltaic solar panel maintenance inspections is a huge advantage over using scaffolding and cherry pickers – not to mention that they avoid so many of the health and safety hurdles connected with working at height. Our approved drone pilots who have specialised in thermal image data collections can fall into to four categories.
- Thermal Image Data Collection
- Image Collection and Level 1 Thermographic Reporting
- Image Collection and Level 2 Thermographic Reporting and Sign-off
- Image Collection and Level 3 Thermography Analysis and Recommendation (the most advanced level)
Many of our long-term Drone Operators have come from the TV and Video media production industry and have been putting cameras in the sky since they had to build their UAVs themselves as specialist custom constructions.
These days, our highly experienced media cinematographers use state of the art advanced flying platforms which are capable of carrying the largest and most progressive camera payloads available.
They work each day in TV live broadcasts, corporate video production through to feature film projects for both independent film companies and established major film studios.
